Dr. Tonya Lawson wears many hats. As a clarinet professor and seasoned private music instructor, she's spent nearly three decades shaping young musicians in Tennessee. Though she earned her Doctorate in Clarinet Performance (2005) and auditioned for competitive university roles, Tonya ultimately built a thriving private studio of over 50 students—teaching by day, grading by night—grounded in her love for music and mentorship.
